A passionate advocate for tourism in Zimbabwe, Laurent was often found sharing stories, photos, and travel tips with colleagues and friends back in Switzerland many of whom had never considered Africa, let alone Zimbabwe, as a destination. Over time, a dream began to take shape: to create a travel experience that connects Swiss travelers to the Zimbabwe he knows and loves, while working hand-in-hand with his former students, friends, and industry colleagues on the ground.
Today, that dream is a reality.

Georgina has long been a passionate advocate for not only telling Zimbabwe’s story but also encouraging people from around the world to come and feel the Zimbabwean vibe for themselves a unique energy inspired by the warmth, hospitality, and the resilience of its people.
As a Zimbabwean professional working closely with individuals from various countries, Georgina has had the opportunity to host guests from Europe, North America, and Asia. Time and time again, she watched visitors fall in love with Zimbabwe often during brief business trips that barely scratched the surface of what the country has to offer. These guests would frequently express a shared regret: that they hadn’t taken the time to truly explore Zimbabwe’s breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and iconic destinations like the majestic Victoria Falls.
This recurring sentiment became the spark behind a bigger idea. Driven by the desire to help tourists experience more than just a glimpse of Zimbabwe, Georgina partnered with like-minded individuals to create Travel Zimbabwe a business dedicated to designing personalised travel packages for a wide range of travellers. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Thandiwe grew up surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and the warmth of the people of Zimbabwe. From the thunder of the Victoria Falls to the quiet beauty of the Eastern Highlands and the simplicity of daily life, Zimbabwe left an imprint on her heart, one that only grew stronger as she journeyed beyond its borders.
Her passion for hospitality led her to study Hospitality and Business in Switzerland, the birthplace of modern luxury hospitality. There, among students from all over the world, she found herself sharing stories about Zimbabwe. She would painting vivid pictures of her homeland for curious classmates, who had never heard about Zimbabwe and what it has to offer. Their fascination sparked something powerful in her: a renewed pride in where she came from and a dream to share it with the world.
